Abstract: The Indian government revealed the demonetization of ₹500 and ₹1,000 currency&#xD;
notes on November 8, 2016, therefore eliminating more than 86% of the coins in&#xD;
circulation. Designed to fight black money, fake currency, and promote a move&#xD;
toward a digital and open economy, this abrupt and important policy change sought to&#xD;
do so. The statement resulted in quick turbulence in all industries, but particularly in&#xD;
the banking sector, which had to handle the operational load of currency conversion&#xD;
and a sharp increase in digital transactions. Although much research has been done on&#xD;
how demonetization affects cash flow, credit disbursal, and liquidity in the banking&#xD;
industry, its influence on non-fund-based income (NFBI), a main source of income for&#xD;
banks, is still somewhat unknown. The goal of this study is to close the gap between&#xD;
what we know and what we need to know by looking at how demonetization affected&#xD;
the NFBI of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in India.&#xD;
NFBI is the money banks make from things besides interest, such as fees for using&#xD;
ATMs, sending money, keeping things in lockers, and other banking services, as well&#xD;
as commissions and service fees. Banks, particularly PSBs, are depending more and&#xD;
more on NFBI to preserve profitability and guarantee financial stability as&#xD;
competition gets tougher and interest margins drop. Given this backdrop, knowledge&#xD;
of how NFBI changes following a policy event like demonetization can help to direct&#xD;
future banking plans and reforms.&#xD;
Using a comparative and analytical method, this research looks at how NFBI trends&#xD;
altered both before and after demonetizing. It looks at a small number of big&#xD;
government-owned banks in India and uses data from yearly financial reports,&#xD;
performance reviews, and regulatory papers for the years 2013-14 to 2019-20. The&#xD;
data has been classified into two distinct phases: the pre-demonetization period (2013-&#xD;
14 to 2015-16) and the post-demonetization period (2016-17 to 2019-20). The aim is&#xD;
to determine whether the NFBI of these banks was significantly affected by the&#xD;
demonetization policy and to what degree the change in income patterns could be&#xD;
ascribed to this policy intervention.&#xD;
The study looks at the variation in NFBI throughout the chosen time range using&#xD;
quantitative techniques including ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and paired t-tests.&#xD;
These methods allow for a robust statistical analysis of whether observed changes in&#xD;
NFBI are significant or due to random fluctuations. Ratio analysis is another feature&#xD;
of the study whereby NFBI is computed as a percentage of total income for every&#xD;
bank. This permits a relative comparison that takes into account differences in general&#xD;
income levels.</description>

a key player among them. The FMCG sector plays a vital role not only in economic&#xD;
development but also in enhancing the everyday lives of people.&#xD;
The research work title is&#xD;
“A Study on Financial Health of Selected FMCG Companies of India by using&#xD;
Data Envelopment Analysis Model”&#xD;
The present research study aims to assess the financial health of selected Indian FMCG&#xD;
companies using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model. The study is based&#xD;
entirely on secondary data, primarily obtained from the published annual reports of the&#xD;
selected companies. Additional secondary sources such as books and scholarly journals&#xD;
related to DEA methodology and the FMCG sector have also been utilized to support&#xD;
the analysis.&#xD;
This research work is organized into six chapters. Chapter One provides an overview&#xD;
of the FMCG industry in India. Chapter Two presents the conceptual framework,&#xD;
focusing on the notions of financial health and the DEA model. Chapter Three&#xD;
contains a comprehensive review of relevant literature. Chapter Four outlines the&#xD;
research methodology employed in the study. Chapter Five includes data analysis and&#xD;
interpretation, while Chapter Six concludes with key findings and suggestions based&#xD;
on the research outcomes.</description>

Abstract: The Indian non-life insurance industry has experienced noticeable and important&#xD;
changes throughout the period, shifting from a state-controlled monopoly to a competitive&#xD;
industry with mixed ownership. This study, titled “Comparative Financial Analysis of Public&#xD;
Non-Life Insurance Companies and Selected Private Non-Life Insurance Companies with&#xD;
Reference to CARAMEL Model,” aims to evaluate and compare the financial performance of&#xD;
chosen public and private insurers using the CARAMEL framework, which covers aspects&#xD;
such as capital strength, asset quality, reinsurance practices, managerial efficiency,&#xD;
profitability, and liquidity. The research utilizes secondary sources covering a ten-year period&#xD;
(2013–14 to 2022–23) and employs ratio analysis and One-Way ANOVA to test statistical&#xD;
significance. Eight companies—four representing the public sector alongside four leading&#xD;
private insurers—were selected for the study. The findings reveal that private insurers&#xD;
consistently outperform their public counterparts in capital strength, cost efficiency,&#xD;
profitability, and solvency margins. Significant disparities across various CARAMEL&#xD;
dimensions were observed, underlining the need for reforms and strategic improvement in&#xD;
public sector operations. The research offers meaningful perspectives for policymakers,&#xD;
investors, and stakeholders in understanding financial stability, risk management approaches,&#xD;
and the evolving path of India's non-life insurance sector.</description>

Abstract: The fast advancement of the e-commerce industry has become the reason for the&#xD;
transformation of the business from local to global. That means now a small town or village&#xD;
person from India can sell his art or product to a direct customer of the USA also. It affects&#xD;
almost all business strategies and consumer behavior and the very fabric of social&#xD;
interactions and consumer identity. After Jio launched its free internet service in India&#xD;
during Sep 2016 to March 2017, the internet users and usage of internet rise in India and&#xD;
year by year India is expanding internet services, growing smartphone usage, and&#xD;
increasing digital literacy, has become one of the world's most promising markets for Ecommerce.&#xD;
Among various segments of society, women have emerged as an increasingly&#xD;
important consumer group, with their purchasing power and participation in the digital&#xD;
economy gaining significant momentum in recent years.&#xD;
In the context of Gujarat, particularly in the Rajkot district, a rapidly growing urban and&#xD;
semi-urban population presents a unique opportunity to explore the role of women in the&#xD;
E-commerce revolution. Lijjat papad gruh udhyog in Rajkot is an example of women’s&#xD;
unity &amp; strength. One of the arm manufacturing companies named Raspian Enterprise Pvt.&#xD;
Ltd. is also in Rajkot which is directed and managed by a woman named Priti Patel. These&#xD;
are the best examples of working women in Rajkot. Nowadays boundaries are open for&#xD;
business, and women present themselves very well in the market.&#xD;
E-commerce in India has been the subject of various studies, there is limited research&#xD;
focusing specifically on the perceptions and behaviors of women as a consumer, especially&#xD;
in smaller cities and towns such as Rajkot. Women’s participation with online platforms is&#xD;
influenced by multiple factors, including socio-economic status, individual income,&#xD;
cultural norms, digital literacy, access to technology, and individual preferences, making it&#xD;
a complex area for investigation.&#xD;
The objective of this research study is to analysis the women’s perception for e-commerce&#xD;
and explore different dimension women’s perception towards e-commerce in Rajkot&#xD;
district, Gujarat, with a focus on understanding their attitudes, preferences, challenges, and&#xD;
experiences while shopping online. By examining the evolving patterns of women's&#xD;
participation in the digital marketplace, the aim of this research is to provide meaningful&#xD;
perspectives into how gender influences e-commerce behaviors and how companies can&#xD;
better cater to the precise needs of female consumers.&#xD;
The implication of this study is not only limited to understand the preferences and&#xD;
challenges faced by women in Rajkot but also in highlighting broader trends in women’s empowerment through technology. As women increasingly take control of household&#xD;
spending, online shopping and online services usage has become an important tool for&#xD;
improving their decision- making power, economic independence, and overall quality of&#xD;
life. Additionally, this research will provide businesses, policymakers, and digital&#xD;
marketers with actionable insights to effectively engage women consumers in this&#xD;
emerging digital era.&#xD;
Through a detailed investigation of socio-demographic variables, shopping habits, online&#xD;
purchase motivations, and barriers to E-commerce participation, this study will contribute&#xD;
to a deeper understanding of how gender and locality influence online shopping behavior,&#xD;
ultimately offering practical recommendations for enhancing women's experiences in the&#xD;
E-commerce sector.&#xD;
