Abstract: Anisomeles indica, a traditional medicinal herb, has been used for centuries to treat various ailments. The objective of the present study was to screen a bioactive compound present in Anisomeles Indica. The Sample was prepared by solvent extraction of Anisomeles indica using rotary evaporator. Alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, and tannins were discovered during a phytochemical screening of this plant. In this comprehensive study, various pharmacological assays were performed to evaluate the antimicrobial and anti-mitotic activities of A. indica extracts. We performed LC-MS analysis to identify the phytochemical compounds present in the plant. In conclusion, this study demonstrates that Anisomeles indica possesses significant antibacterial and anti-mitotic properties, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic agent for bacterial infections and cancer treatment.
