Science behind Indian Rituals

Abstract

India is the land of Saints who were not only Saints but Scientists. From ancient times people in India follow so many spiritual rituals as a part of their daily life. But with the progress of technology and time, these rituals lost their importance and current generation believes that they are just blind beliefs and do not follow them which affects their physical and mental health. This project is intended to discover the science behind the different Indian rituals that we are following in our day-to-day life. These rituals are not blind beliefs, but they have specific purposes and impacts on the physical and mental health of human beings. Different methodologies used to do this study are study of the related literature like our scriptures, the survey of the current scenario that how many percentage of people of society have awareness about this, practicing these rituals for some specific number of days and observing the results, etc. It is also intended to create awareness among people about these rituals so that our next generation also continue to follow these rituals for their healthy body and mind and thus do preserve the knowledge of this given by our great Saints. If our current and next generation knows about these facts, they will start being proud to be Indian as our Saints had discovered the science behind these rituals by their divine power in ancient times when there was no technology invented to invent these facts.
