Abstract: An innovative and ancient formulative approach of Herbal Mosquito Repellent needs is to introduce a mosquito repellent having fragrance so to use it even as air freshener, along with reducing the usage of chemical based mosquito repellent attaining the SDG-3(Good health and well being). In comparison to available synthetic formulation, traditional, homely health conscious commodities like neem oil,coconut oil,camphor,baking soda,orange pills powder,glue expected to be employed in the following study. A preliminary study at basic formulation level with curriculum based project for short term has been already initiated and further expansion in terms of optimization and validation for commercialization and societal usage perspective, needed. Already available products although successful in killing mosquito larvae but the harmful environmental and health impact need also to be checked to meet the safe and sustainable chemical formulation. With these background and objective a study, a strong relevance from the point of municipal,slum areas and domestic usage in small villages,waste disposable area,washrooms,public bathroom and even for women hygiene is noteworthy. The expected outcome from the proposed proposal can be possible to fetch an Eco-friendly,healthy,flexible packaging (eg tea sachet),cost effective remedy to curb mosquito infestation.
