Abstract: Modern dyes material generally possesses potentially harmful chemicals Which after prolonged contact with the skin may result in harmful effects. Also, these chemicals possess heavy metals which pollute water resources and generate various birth defects if consumed by pregnant women. The Saurashtra region is famous for the dyeing industries and the above-noted challenges always concern the citizens. So this project proposes the solution by isolation of natural dyeing materials in sustainable ways which was already famous in ancient Indian Knowledge System but due to invasions of foreign troops and carelessness of society, it was obvious nowadays. In this project, the solvents used are selected with a viewpoint of environmental, health & economical compatibility. This project caters for Sustainable Development Goals-2030, GOAL 3: Good Health and Well-being, GOAL 4: Quality Education, GOAL 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and GOAL 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
